UGLY SNOW ALERT – Storm Landing in Cornwall Ontario Area WILL UPDATE 011619

Cornwall Ontario – The biggest storm so far of the Winter is coming to the River City area!

Expect to see some snow over the next five days with the big dumps coming this weekend!

What’s rare is that temps will be plunging during the heavy falling of white stuff on the weekend.

Right now it’s hovering around zero at CFN offices in downtown Cornwall Ontario, but it will drop to about -22c overnight with temps around -20c expected until next week.

A high of only -15c is expected on Saturday and Sunday with 20-30cm of snow expected by Monday morning.

It’s a great time to stock up before the Big One of 2019 lands!

Please remember to give extra care to pets outside and walking on streets that may have an ice pack under that snow.

  1. The roads in my residential section here in Ottawa are not well plowed at all and plenty of ice and the sidewalks are very treaturous. I wanted to go to the material store but will wait until the nicer weather comes around. I went out with hubby to pick up what he had laid away and a couple of groceries only and back home. It is so mighty cold out and the hallway outside the apartment is cold.
