Brownell & McDonell Charged by Police in Cornwall Ontario Again #CCPS 041918

WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – John Pecore, 37, of Cornwall was arrested on April 8th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend for prints on April 4th, 2019 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 8th, 2019, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Linzey Brownell, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on April 8th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on August 15th, 2018, the woman removed merchandise from a Ninth Street business and left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On April 8th, 2019, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on May 9th, 2019.

Cornwall, ON – Chad McDonell, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on April 8th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend for prints on December 31st, 2018 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 8th, 2019, the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on May 9th, 2019.

BREAK & ENTER, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 8th, 2019 and charged with break and enter and mischief under $5000. It is alleged on April 8th, 2019, the man forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s residence without her permission, causing damage to the door. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on May 9th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 9th, 2019, and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of a youth probation order for possessing drugs and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 3rd, 2019, the man attended a Second Street East business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the early morning hours on April 9th, 2019, the man was located during a traffic stop. He was taken into custody and found to be in possession of cannabis and a prescription bottle in someone else’s name. The man was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 9th, 2019. His name was not released as the conditions stem from when the man was a youth and is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
