Cornwall Police Only Disclose 1 Call Out of 63 WEDNESDAY May 29, 2019 #CCPS #CPS

POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, OBTAIN CREDIT BY FALSE PRETENCE, BREACH, RESIST ARREST

Cornwall, ON – James Masson, 43, of Cornwall was arrested on May 28th, 2019 and charged with the following:

• Possession of property obtained by crime
• Obtain credit by false pretence
• Resist arrest
• Breach of probation x 7 (for contacting a certain person, being within a certain distance of the person, and failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged in February the man pawned a cell phone that did not belong to him in exchange for a quantity of money. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 28th, 2019, police located the man in the company of a person he is to have no contact with. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.
