Cornwall Woman Charged w Sexually Assaulting Her Children #CPS #CCPS July 15 2019

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Cavel Beaudoin, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on July 12th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on July 8th, 2019 and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On July 12th, 2019, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 45-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 12th, 2019 and charged with breach of undertaking for contact his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged on July 10th, 2019 the man sent a message to his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On July 12th, 2019, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 12th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged during the early morning hours on July 4th, 2019, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence with a portion of his face concealed. The man was knocking at her door in a threatening manner, despite having conditions of no contact with the woman. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 12th, 2019 he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Carl Beaucage, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on July 13th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on December 27th, 2018 for an impaired offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 13th, 2019, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on July 25th, 2019.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Mitchell Berube, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on July 13th, 2019 and charged with breach of probation for consuming alcohol and failing to keep the peace. He was also charged with breach of recognizance for consuming alcohol. It is alleged while investigating a disturb the peace complaint on July 13th, 2019, police located the intoxicated man in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, REFUSAL, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jacques Dansereau, 52, of Cornwall was arrested on July 13th, 2019 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and refusal. He was also charged with breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace and being in the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle with alcohol in his system. It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Sydney Street and Ninth Street. Police conducted a traffic stop and during the investigation, the man failed to provide a proper sample of his breath upon demand. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

PERSONATION WITH INTENT TO AVOID ARREST, POSSESSION OF A PROHIBITED WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, BREACH PROHIBITION ORDER, BREACH PROBATION

Cornwall, ON – James Labelle, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on July 13th, 2019 and charged with personation with intent to avoid arrest, possession of a prohibited weapon for a dangerous purpose, breach of prohibition order and breach of probation for possessing a restricted weapon and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on July 13th, 2019, the man provided a false name to police during a traffic stop and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, at which time he was found to be in possession of brass knuckles. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 13th, 2019 and charged with domestic assault. It is alleged the man assaulted his girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

SEXUAL ASSAULT, SEXUAL INTERFERENCE, INVITATION TO SEXUAL TOUCHING

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on July 14th, 2019 and charged with the following:

• Sexual assault on a person under 16 x 2
• Sexual interference x 2
• Invitation to sexual touching

It is alleged the woman sexually assaulted her children, ages two and six, and a police investigation ensued. On July 14th, 2019, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victims in the matter.

THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Marc Jodoin, 44, of Cornwall was arrested on July 14th, 2019 and charged with three counts of theft under $5000 and three counts of breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on three occasions between June 29th and July 14th, the man attended local businesses and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the stores. Police were contacted and took the man into custody on July 14th, 2019, when he was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer at a Second Street business. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 13th, 2019.

THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Morgon McCreary, 40 of Cornwall was arrested on July 14th, 2019 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged the woman attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. She was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer and police subsequently attended and took her into custody. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 13th, 2019.

FRAUD UNDER $5000 x 2

Cornwall, ON – Rachelle Seguin, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on July 14th, 2019 and charged with two counts of fraud under $5000. It is alleged the woman defrauded a Brookdale Avenue business on two occasions, by altering amounts payable on a cheque. On July 14th, 2019, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 13th, 2019.

ASSAULT, CAUSE DISTURBANCE, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Crystal Keeler, 40, of Cornwall was arrested on July 14th, 2019 and charged with assault, cause disturbance, as well as threats. It is alleged the woman assaulted a man known to her, as well as made threats to kill him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Two 14-year-old Cornwall youths were arrested on July 14th, 2019 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged the youths damaged a fence that did not belong to them and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, they both were taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court at a later date. Their names were not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – David Lalonde, 43, of Cornwall was arrested on July 15th, 2019 and charged with assault with a weapon. It is alleged on July 14th, 2019, the man brandished a hammer in a threatening manner towards a man known to him and police were contacted. On July 15th, 2019, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on August 13th, 2019.
