Cornwall Police Only Disclose 1 Call for Service Out of 60 JULY 18, 2019 #CPS #CCPS

BREACH OF CONDITIONAL SENTENCE ORDER

Cornwall, ON – Elton Cox, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on July 17th, 2019 for breaching his conditional sentence order. It is alleged the man had consumed alcohol, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation he was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.

CONTINUED INVESTIGATION INTO COLLISION INVOLVING A TODDLER

Cornwall, ON – On Wednesday July 10th, 2019 at approximately 4:15 pm, a beige/brown 4-door sedan with silver rims struck a toddler that was being pushed in a stroller in the area of Sydney St. and Fifth St. The driver, who is believed to be a male between the ages of 50 and 60, fled the scene. The toddler was transported to the hospital, sustaining minor injuries.
