Aikman & Spowart Led Cornwall Police Only Disclose 2 Out of 59 Calls for Service 082719 #CPS

BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, ON – Wesley Gratton-Stewart, 22, of St. Andrew’s West was arrested on August 27th, 2019 and charged with breach of probation for possessing a weapon. It is alleged during a traffic stop on August 27th, police located a crossbow in the man’s vehicle, despite his conditions, and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 8th, 2019.

SHOPLIFTING – REQUEST FOR PUBLIC ASSISTANCE

Cornwall, ON – The Cornwall Police Service is looking to identify the woman pictured below in relation to a theft that occurred at a Second Street business on August 24th, 2019. The woman is described as being approximately 50 years of age with a slim build, dark hair in a ponytail, and was wearing a camouflage ball cap with a blue zip-up hoodie.
