BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Trent Boudrias, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on September 3rd, 2019 and charged with two counts of breach of undertaking for failing to reside at a certain address and failing to notify a change of address to police. It is alleged the man had changed his residence without notifying police and was located on September 3rd, 2019 in breach of his conditions. An investigation ensued and the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Ronald Regnier, 47, of Cornwall was arrested on September 3rd, 2019 and charged with two counts of theft under $5000 and four counts of breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 26th, 2019, the man attended a Gerald Street business and removed a variety of items from motor vehicles on the property without permission. It is further alleged on September 2nd, 2019, the man attended a Brookdale Avenue business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On September 3rd, 2019, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

OBSTRUCT, BREACHES, WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old woman and 39-year-old man, both of no fixed address, were arrested on September 3rd, 2019 and charged as follows:

40-year-old woman:
• Breach of probation x 3 (for being near the 39-year-old man, for being in a certain place, and for failing to keep the peace)
• Breach of recognizance x 3 (for failing to notify police of a change of address, possessing drug paraphernalia, and failing to reside at an approved address)

39-year-old man:
• Obstruct police
• Breach of recognizance (for failing to keep the peace)
• Breach of probation x 6 (for contacting the 40-year-old woman, being within a certain distance of her, failing to immediately leave any place she is, and failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged on September 3rd, 2019, police were called to investigate an unrelated matter, when the man and woman were located in a residence in breach of their conditions. During the investigation, the man allegedly provided a false name to police. The woman was further found to be in breach of her conditions for being in possession of drug paraphernalia and was wanted on the strength of a warrant for failing to attend court for a theft charge on July 5th, 2019. Both individuals were taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Their names were not released as it would identify both victims in the matter.

DOMESTIC BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 63-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on September 3rd, 2019 and charged with breach of recognizance for being within a certain distance of his common-law-wife. It is alleged on August 18th, 2019, the man attended the woman’s residence, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On September 3rd, 2019, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on September 3rd, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on August 12th, 2019 for an assault charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 3rd, 2019, the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the assault occurred when the man was a youth and is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jordan Johnson, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on September 3rd, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his conditional sentence order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 3rd, 2019, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on September 4th, 2019 and charged with breach of undertaking x 2 for contacting and being within a certain distance of her boyfriend. It is alleged during the early morning hours on September 4th, 2019, police were responding to a disturbance call, at which time they located the woman in the company of her boyfriend, despite her conditions. During the investigation, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
