Cornwall Police Disclose 3 of 65 Calls for Service JANUARY 7, 2019 #CPS

DOMESTIC BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 62-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 6th, 2020 and charged with breach of undertaking for contacting his girlfriend. It is alleged on January 5th, the man was in breach of his conditions while in the company of his girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. On January 6th, 2020, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Douglas Anderson, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on January 7th, 2020 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to abide by a curfew. It is alleged during the early morning hours on January 7th, the man was located in a vehicle during a traffic stop and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Braydon Barilco, 18, of St. Regis, QC was arrested on January 7th, 2020 and charged with breach of release order for being in the City of Cornwall. It is alleged during the early morning hours on January 7th, police located the man in the area of Third Street East, despite his conditions to not be in the City of Cornwall. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

There were 65 calls for service in the City of Cornwall over the last 24 hours (8:00 am yesterday to 8:00 am today).
