HOUSE FIRE – ONE PERSON INJURED
(SOUTH DUNDAS,ON) – On February 21, 2020 at 3:20 a.m, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a residential fire on St Lawrence Street, South Dundas Township. Information was provided that there was a person inside the structure.
The person was able to escape the residence with the assistance from neighbours. The victim ( 80 -year-old male) has been transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
South Dundas Fire Department members attended the scene to extinguish the fire. .
Investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshall (OFM), assisted by SD&G OPP officers and SD&G OPP crime unit continue the investigation.
