THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Robert Thibeault, 36 of Cornwall was arrested on March 31st, 2020 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 28th, 2020 the man attended a Ninth Street store, removed property making no attempt to pay for the item as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located on March 31st, 2020 while investigating another matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 10th, 2020.

Cornwall, ON – Richard Marini, 55 of Cornwall was arrested on March 31st, 2020 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 12th, 2020 the man attended a Ninth Street store, removed property making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located on March 31st, 2020, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 11th, 2020.

MISCHIEF, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Mark Tyo, 47 of Cornwall was arrested on March 31st, 2020 and charged with mischief and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 31st, 2020 the man spit on property that is commonly used by others. Police were called and an investigation ensued. The man was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 11th, 2020.

ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 31st, 2020 and charged with assault and breach of undertaking for consuming alcohol. It is alleged during an argument on March 31st, 2020 the intoxicated man assaulted his common-law wife. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation it was learned the man was bund by an undertaking order to abstain from the consumption of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
