DOMESTIC BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 10th, 2019 and charged with breach of undertaking x 2 for failing to notify a change of address to police and for contacting his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged on May 8th, 2019, the man contacted his ex-girlfriend through social media, despite his conditions, and police were contacted. On May 10th, 2019, police located the man. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Ayushkumar Patel, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on May 10th, 2019 and charged with over 80. It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Brookdale Avenue and Fourteenth Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 23rd, 2019.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on May 11th, 2019 and charged with mischief under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument with her boyfriend, the woman damaged various items including a chair, a cup and a television. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on May 30th, 2019. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Justin Rainey, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on May 11th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 11th, 2019, police located the man and took him into custody on the strength of the warrant. He was released to appear in court on June 4th, 2019.

THEFT UNDER $5000, FAIL TO APPEAR PRINTS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Marc Racine, 44, of Cornwall was arrested on May 11th, 2019 and charged with the following:

• Theft under $5000 x 4
• Fail to appear for prints
• Breach of probation x 10 (for failing to keep the peace and attending a certain business)
• Breach of undertaking (for attending a certain business)

It is alleged from March to May, 2019, the man attended four businesses and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as he left each store. It is further alleged on April 29th, 2019, the man failed to appear for prints and an investigation ensued. On May 11th, 2019, police located the man. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Grayson McDonald, 20, of Akwesasne was arrested on May 12th, 2019 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol when he was stopped at the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 23rd, 2019.

FAIL TO APPEAR PRINTS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Michael Isaac, 46, of Cornwall was arrested on May 12th, 2019 and charged with fail to appear prints and breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on May 6th, 2019, the man failed to attend for prints and an investigation ensued. On May 12th, 2019, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on June 20th, 2019.

WARRANTS, FRAUD UNDER $5000, UNLAWFUL USE OF CREDIT CARD, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Joshua Lauzon-McAlear, 20, of Summerstown was arrested on May 12th, 2019 on the strength of two warrants for failing to attend court and for breaching his probation. He was also charged with the following:

• Fraud under $5000
• Unlawful use of credit card
• Breach of recognizance x 5 (for failing to abide by a curfew, failing to reside at a certain address, failing to notify a change of address to police, contacting a certain person, and possessing a card with a data strip)

It is alleged on May 12th, 2019, the man was in possession of a bank card that did not belong to him, which had been stolen from a motor vehicle. The man is alleged to have used the card at a Marlborough Street business during the early morning hours on May 12th, 2019, while in the company of a man he is to have no contact with. Police were contacted and located the man. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Megan Powless, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on May 13th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court for breaches on April 25th, 2019 and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 13th, 2019, police located the woman and took her into custody on the strength of the warrant. She was held for a bail hearing.
