DOMESTIC BREACHES     

            Cornwall, ON- A 25 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 15th of February, 2012. He was bound by a recognizance with the relevant condition of not to associate directly or indirectly with his 21 year-old ex-girlfriend.  It is alleged that on the 15th of Febraury, 2012 he was found to be with the said female by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was charged with breach of recognizance and held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the female in this incident.

THEFT

            Cornwall, ON- Cody Lacelle, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on the 15th of February, 2012. It is alleged that on the 8th of February, 2012 he attended a Brookdale Avenue store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with theft under $5000.00 and released to appear in court on the 15thof March, 2012.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

            Cornwall, ON- An 18 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 16th of February, 2012. He was bound by a probation order with relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 15th of February, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 18 year-old girlfriend when he broke property at her residence. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with domestic mischief and breach of probation order. He was released to appear in court the following day.  His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE

            Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is currently investigation the theft of a 2003 green Jeep Liberty that occurred on the 15th of February from a Boundary Road facility. If you have any information regarding this break and enter, please contact the Service at 613-932-2110 or Crime Stoppers at 613-937-8477.

BREAK & ENTER

            Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is currently investigation a break and enter that occurred between the 10th of February, 2012 and the 12th of February, 2012 at  a Guy Street residence. The suspect(s) gained entry and removed a 15.4” HP Pavilion laptop, black in colour, with an extended life battery. If you have any information regarding this break and enter, please contact the Service at 613-932-2110 or Crime Stoppers at 613-937-8477.

THREATS


(South Glengarry) –  On 15Feb12, at approximately 4:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a threatening on Gore Road, South Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that a 31yr old female had repeatedly called the residence of her ex-common law husband and threatened his current wife.

The female was arrested later that day and faces charges of:

  • Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
  • Harassing Telephone Calls

 

She was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

 

BREACHED CONDITIONS


(South Stormont) – On 15Feb12, at approximately 9:30am, members of the OPP Highway Safety Division had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Highway 138, South Stormont Township.

The stop revealed that the 23yr old male driver and his 18yr old female passenger were on conditions not to associate.

Both were arrested, the male faces a charge of:

  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance

 

The female faces charges of:

  • Breach of Probation Order
  • Obstruct/Resist Peace Officer

 

Both were held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
