Busy sched in the NHL last night.
Philly 4-2 over Boston; Carolina beat the Caps 5-2; Florida 4-3 over Atlanta; Columbus 5 LA 4; Marty Brodeur and the Devils beat the Leafs 3-2; Calgary doubled Ottawa 6-3; Penguins 3 Tampa Bay 1; Nashville beat Edmonton 6-5; Chicago over Anaheim 3-2, Chris Osgood shut out St. Louis 5-0; Vancouver over Minnesota 4-2; and finally 4-1 over SJ.
The calm before the storm as there are no overnight trades to report.
Coverage on most sites starts at 8AM as it’s expected to be a very busy trade deadline day with a lot of big names changing jerseys.
In other news, Minnesota Goalie Niklas Backstrom signed a 4 year $24 Million dollar extension.
So who do you think is going to be moving today? Will the Habs reach out and finally grab that big center they’ve been needing? Will anyone actually want any Toronto Maple Leaf player? Will the Sens cry and whine like babies?
