NDP Leader Jack Layton wants Ottawa to pull any Federal ads from two Quebecor owned Newspapers ( Le Journal de Montreal and Le Reveil du Saguenay) that have locked out their employees.
“I know this is a very difficult time for you and your families,” Layton told the workers gathered in the basement of the Centre du Plateau in east-end Montreal. “Locking you out was not fair, not acceptable. But we are here to support you against the actions of this company.”
