POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME
Cornwall, ON – Joseph Merpaw, 52 and Donald Waldorf, 54 both of Cornwall were arrested on January 23rd, 2017 and charged with possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged on January 23rd, 2017 the men were found to be in possession of a quantity of metal that had been removed from a construction site on January 22nd, 2017. The men were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 2nd, 2017.
MISCHIEF, DRIVE DISQUALIFIED, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 23rd, 2017 and charged with mischief and drive disqualified. It is alleged during an argument with his common-law wife on January 23rd, 2017 the man damaged furniture and a wall in the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man who had left the area prior to police arrival was taken into custody during a traffic stop and found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
