(South Stormont) – On 25Jan10, at approximately 10:00pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Highway 138, South Stormont Township.
The stop revealed that the 31yr old male driver (Raymond BOWMAN of Cornwall On) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested and faces charges of:
- Impaired Driving-Motor Vehicle
- Drive Over 80mgs-Motor Vehicle
He is scheduled to appear 18 Mar 2010 in Cornwall court.

Why not report the Cornwall police officer that was charged Feb 1, 2010?
Aw Willie I like the Cornwall Police officers; especially the ones I’ve had to work with or speak with. I get hundreds of potential stories every day and there are so many things I could report on and don’t. If you feel strongly though I’d suggest a Letter to the Editor as we print a lot of those.
I agree admin. If the general public knew everything that went on in the city, we would never go out our front doors. However, news is news.

So, you have no problem shaming the name of a regular citizen, but not the name of an officer of authority breaking the law and getting caught for it?
No grimalot. I have no problems shaming anyone’s name if I’m in the mood to do so especially if it’s deserved……I do have your email and isp number right buddy 😉 Should we look for any lizards under your stones?
