Farm Boy Issues Voluntary Recall on a Selection of Farm Boy Dressings & Salads: undeclared ingredients
Ottawa, ON – June 19, 2018 – Farm Boy 2012 Inc. (Farm Boy) today announced a voluntary recall of a selection of Farm Boy Dressings because the products contain undeclared ingredients that were not listed on the product label.
The products, distributed in all Farm Boy stores throughout Ontario, have been reported by the supplier to contain undeclared sulphites, soy, wheat, salt or potassium sorbate, as noted below. The CFIA has been notified and all affected product has been removed from Farm Boy store shelves. No reactions have been reported to date and an investigation is underway.
Customers with an allergy to sulphites, wheat or soy (as noted below) should not consume these products. Customers who purchased any lot number of these items can return them to any Farm Boy location for a full refund.
In accordance with our stringent health and safety standards, and as an extreme precaution, all of the potentially affected products listed below have been removed from our stores:
