THEFT UNDER $5000, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000
Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on December 12th, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000 and mischief under $5000. It is alleged on December 5th, 2018 the youth took a laptop from his school without permission. It is further alleged on December 12th, 2018, the youth damaged a window at his school and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Andy Courville, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on December 12th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on December 11th, 2018 for a theft charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On December 12th, 2018, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on January 3rd, 2018.
Cornwall, ON – Brandon Spence, 37, of Belleville was arrested on December 12th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on September 13th, 2018 for disobeying his court order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On December 12th, 2018, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Kyle Sauve, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on December 12th, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000 x 2 and breach of undertaking for failing to notify a change of address to police and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on December 3rd, 2018, the man took two cell phones that did not belong to him without the owners’ permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On December 12th, 2018, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 3rd, 2018.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Edward Hall, 49, of Cornwall was arrested on December 12th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on August 14th, 2018 for breaches and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On December 12th, 2018, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended the courthouse as the man was in custody on an unrelated matter. The warrant was executed and the man remained in custody pending a bail hearing.

It is alleged the man failed to attend court on December 3rd, 2018 for theft charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest. CRIMINAL HARASSMENT
Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 12th, 2018 and charged with criminal harassment. It is alleged the man repeatedly contacted his ex-girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 27th, 2018. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
