No Markov, no Schneider = 3-2 Hab Loss to Lowly Sens

Looks like Matt Schneider is done for the year and Andrei Markov is out for at least 3 weeks.    Doug Janik and Ryan O’Byrne were the replacements.

The Habs failed a test last night losing 3-2 to Ottawa.    I think in the end of this chapter of  Hab history people are going to say “If only bob Bob Gainey had picked up another top six forward, like a Bill Guerin who went for a bag of pucks maybe they could’ve gone deep in the play-offs.   Bob didn’t appease the Gods of Hockey past and now has been bitten hard.   It doesn’t look good for the Habs to carry Lord Stanley’s cup this year.

Montreal was outshot in their own building, but the AK27 line was still humming with Alex Kovalev leading the Habs with 5 shots.

It was a quiet night in the NHL with only 2 other games.   Detroit beat Buffalo 4-1; and Calgary, fighting the curse of Olli got a much needed win over LA 4-1.
