Habs Even Series with 3-1 Victory in Pittsburgh on Cammallieri’s Two Goals – Cornwall Ontario – May 2, 2010

Cornwall ON – The Montreal Canadiens tied up their series with the Stanley Cup defending Pittsburgh Penguins this afternoon with their 3-1 victory in Pittsburgh.

They did it without their best player, Andrei Markov who looks to be gone for the season after getting injured in game one.    They did it by playing as a team and by Jaroslav Halak being Jaroslav Halak as most of the game was spent in their own zone.

If you have my favorite Hab Michael Cammllieri in your hockey pool you’re a happy camper today as he added two goals to his play off leading total of 8 in the post season.

Whiny stick throwing baby Syd Crosby was limited to 1 shot and zero points in the  lop sided loss  as Pittsburgh out shot les boys 39-21.
