PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT

Cornwall ON – In the interest of community safety, Chief Daniel Parkinson of the Cornwall Community Police Service, under the authority of the Police Services Act of Ontario, discloses the following warning to the public about a male who has gone door-to-door, targeting females in seniors residences.

The male uses high pressure sales techniques and once he gains entry into a seniors’ apartment has attempted to make unwanted physical advances.

The 50 year-old male is described as follows:  white, 5’11”, 162 lbs, thin build, brown hair and hazel eyes.

The Cornwall Community Police Service is warning the public of people who prey on the good will of unsuspecting victims.  Please practice sound crime reduction and safety measures at all times.  Information on crime reduction is available on the Cornwall Community Police Service web-site at www.cornwallpolice.com
