The History of Fingerprinting at The Historic Cornwall Jail – July 23, 2010

Cornwall ON – This new exhibit and educational program offered at the Historic Cornwall Jail will enlighten visitors on previous inmate identification processes. Learn about how fingerprinting came into effect in correctional facilities and at what length criminals will go to try to hide their identity.

Compare your fingerprints with those of famous criminals and learn what type of fingerprint pattern you have while participating in our hands on fingerprinting activity. Take your fingerprint card home, add a photograph and your personal information and use it as a safety identification card.

This ongoing event begins July 19th, 2010 and runs from Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 3:00pm Saturday and Sunday 11:00 am – 3:00pm

Admittance fees are
Adults $7.00
Children (ages 4-12) $5.00
Children (under the age of 4) FREE
