Cornwall ON – What do you get when you roll up Captain Kirk, TJ Hooker, and a million other characters in one? William Shatner! Mr. Shatner turned 80 today and has come a long way from Baron Byng High in Montreal from the land of Duddy Kravitz!
It’s hard to believe, but Mr. Shatner is a Stratford trained contemporary of Christopher Plummer , and many other great Canadian actors.
Bill has 197 credits on the IMDB including a stint on Howdy Doody as well as such epic classics as Kingdom of the Spiders and Visiting Hours. The Celebrity circuit and success of the Star Trek movies revived Mr. Shatner’s career as well as his long time friend Leonard Nimoy whom he cut some music tracks with as well including the you tube clip below.
