WARRANT

 

            Cornwall, ON- Armand Richer, 50 of Cornwall was arrested on August 14th, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on August 13th, 2012 his surety was revoked and a committal warrant was sought. He was held in custody until court on the following day.

 

BREACHES

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on August 14th, 2012. The youth was bound by a Youth Probation Order with the conditions of not to have any contact directly or indirectly with a certain person and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on August 14th, 2012 the youth was found in the company of the said person by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. The youth was charged with Breach of Probation Order and released to an adult to appear in court on September 20th, 2012. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

 

Cornwall, ON- Barry Ceasor 47 of Cornwall was arrested on August 14th,2012. He was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions of Not to associate or communicate with persons known to have criminal records, save immediate family; Not to associate with anyone known to use or deal in drugs; Notify Cornwall Police within 24 hrs., of any change of address and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on August 14th, 2012 he was found by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be in the company of someone with a Criminal Record. He was charged with 2 counts of Fail to comply with Undertaking and held in custody until court the following day.

 

DRUGS & OBSTRUCT POLICE

 

            Cornwall, ON- Judy Delorme, 46 of Cornwall was arrested on August 14th, 2012. It is alleged that on June 7th, 2012 she was found to be in possession of controlled substances believed to be fentanyl and oxycodone. It is also alleged that she mislead police during the investigation. She was charged with 2 counts of Possession for the Purpose, 2 counts of Possession of controlled substance and Obstruct Police Officer. She was released to appear in court on September 18th, 2012.

(North Glengarry) – On 15Aug12, at approximately 1:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on St. Paul St. Alexandria, On.

The investigation revealed that a male and his 22yr old girlfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the female assaulting the male.

She was arrested and faces charges of:

– Assault
– Assault with A Weapon
– Mischief Under $5,000

She is scheduled to appear 11Sept12 in Cornwall court.
(North Stormont) – On 15Aug12, at approximately 1:45am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Sixth Road, North Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that a male and his 38yr old common-law wife were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the female assaulting the male. Further investigation revealed that the female had assaulted another member of the family the previous morning.

The female was arrested and faces charges of:

– Assault
– Assault with A Weapon

She is scheduled to appear 11Sept12 in Cornwall court.

Ontario Provincial Police News Portal [STORMONT DUNDAS and GLENGARRY] Impaired Drivers/ Domestic Incident/ Drugs,/Racing Law Infractions 2012-08-14

 

(North Stormont) – On 12Aug12, at approximately 10:00am, SD&G OPP officers were conducting a Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere (RIDE) spot-check at the intersection of County Roads 12 and 9 North Stormont Township. While checking a vehicle, it was determined that the male driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Barry FAWCETT (54yrs) of North Stormont was arrested and faces charges of:

– Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle

He is scheduled to appear 28Aug12 in Cornwall court.
(South Glengarry) – On 12Aug12, at approximately 4:00am, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Bridge St. Williamstown, On.

The stop revealed that the 22yr old male driver (Ryan DELORME of South Glengarry) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

– Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle

He is scheduled to appear 28Aug12 in Cornwall court.
(South Glengarry) – On 11Aug12, at approximately 12:30am, SD&G OPP officers were conducting a Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere (RIDE) spot-check at the intersection of County Roads 17 and 19, South Glengarry Township.

A vehicle check resulted in the seizure of approximately 40grams of suspected marihuana and 20 white methamphetamine pills.

The 18yr old male driver (Justin POULTER of Alexandria On) and three passengers (Brandon LESSARD 18yrs old of North Glengarry Township) as wells as two females aged 15 and 17 were arrested.

The 17yr old female faces charges of:

– Possession for the Purpose Schedule II
– Possession for the Purpose schedule I
– Fail to Comply – Undertaking Before Officer in Charge
– Failure to Comply with Sentence or Disposition

She was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

The 15yr old female faces charges of:

– Possession for the Purpose Schedule II
– Possession for the Purpose Schedule I

She is scheduled to appear 20Sept12 in Cornwall court.

The 18yr old male passenger (LESSARD) faces charges of:

– Possession for the Purpose Schedule I
– Possession for the Purpose Schedule II
– Breach of Probation Order

He is scheduled to appear 03Oct12 in Alexandria court.

The 18yr old male driver (POULTER) faces charges of:

– Trafficking Schedule II – Cannabis Marihuana under 3 kilograms
– Possession for the Purpose Schedule I

He is scheduled to appear 03Oct12 in Alexandria court.

The approximate street value of the seized drugs is $800:00.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT

(North Glengarry) – On 12Aug12, at approximately 5:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident that occurred on Main St. Alexandria On.

The investigation revealed that a female and her 32yr old common-law husband were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male assaulting the female.

The male was arrested and faces charges of:

– Assault Cause Bodily Harm
– Assault
– Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
