BREAK AND ENTER, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Marc Fournier, 34 of Cornwall was arrested on August 26th, 2016 and charged with break and enter and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged sometime during the evening of June 22nd or early morning hours of June 23rd, 2016 the man forced his way into a First Street East address and removed property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 26th, 2016 the man was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 26th, 2016 and charged with breach of probation for failing to notify a change of address, not living at a specified address, communicating with someone he has conditions not to communicate with and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 26th, 2016 the man was found to be residing with the person he has conditions not to communicate with. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.
Cornwall, ON – A 55-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 26th, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for communicating with a person he has conditions not to communicate with, failing to reside with his surety and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 23rd, 2016 the man left a voice mail on his ex-girlfriend’s phone despite being on conditions not to communicate with her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 26th, 2016 the man was spotted walking on Pitt Street by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was taken into custody and during this time it was learned he was not residing with his surety. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
THREATS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Kevin Bovin, 45 of Cornwall was arrested on August 25th, 2016 and charged with threats and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 25th, 2016 the man threatened a 52-year-old man known to him and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Christian Tygesen, 49 of Cornwall was arrested on August 25th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 25th, 2016 the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – Michael Mantle, 46 of Cornwall was arrested on August 25th, 2016 and charged with assault. On August 25th, 2016 police attended the area of Pitt Street and Third Street to investigate a disturbance. During the investigation it was learned the man allegedly punched another man in the face after their two dogs were involved in fight. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 6th, 2016.
CARE AND CONTROL, OVER 80, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Alain Labelle, 46 of Cornwall was arrested on August 26th, 2016 and charged with care and control of a motor vehicle, over 80 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 26th, 2016 the man was in care and control of a motor vehicle while in the area of Alice Street and Second Street. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 8th, 2016.
