TRESPASS BY NIGHT, THEFT OVER $5000
Cornwall, ON – Bradley Stephenson, 24 and a 16-year-old youth both of Cornwall were arrested on March 24th, 2017 and charged with trespass by night and theft over $5000. It is alleged on March 24th, 2017 they removed a 4-wheeler from a Danis Avenue yard and police were contacted to investigate. They two were located a short distance away, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
CARE AND CONTROL, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Bailie Grant, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on March 25th, 2017 and charged with care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and over 80. It is alleged the woman was in care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol on March 25th, 2017 when police attended Rosemount Avenue for a vehicle that was lodged in a snow bank. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 6th, 2017.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 58-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 25th, 2017 and charged with breach of recognizance for attending his ex-wife’s residence, communicating with her and for having consumed alcohol. It is alleged the man attended his ex-wife’s residence in the early morning hours of March 25th, 2017 and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man who had consumed alcohol was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
CARE AND CONTROL, OVER 80, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Cornwall, ON – Devon Latour, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on March 25th, 2017 and charged with care and control of a motor vehicle, over 80 and possession of marijuana. . It is alleged the man was in care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol on March 25th, 2017 when police attended St.Michel Avenue for a vehicle that was lodged in a snow bank. He was taken into custody and found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 6th, 2017.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Kyle Delorme, 24 was arrested on March 25th, 2017 on the strength of warrants. It is alleged the man was wanted on several warrants for breaches, threats and assaults. On March 25th, 2017 the man was located by police at a Louisa Street address, taken into custody on the strength of the warrants and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 25th, 2017 and charged with assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on March 25th, 2017 the youth punched his girlfriend in the head. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 25th, 2017 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an argument on March 25th, 2017 the man grabbed his girlfriend by the neck and pushed her against the wall. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
Cornwall, ON – Gregory Fox, 66 of Cornwall was arrested on March 25th, 2017 and charged with assault. It is alleged during a dispute on March 25th, 2017 the man punched a 53-year-old man known to him and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 27th, 2017.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Samantha Marchand, 34 of Brockville was arrested on March 26th, 2017 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It alleged on March 26th, 2017 the woman was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Ninth Street and Marlborough Street. She was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 6th, 2017.
