Police Asking For Assistance in Identifying Robbery Suspect

At approximately 12:15 p.m. a robbery occurred at the Kawartha Credit Union located at 775 Strand Boulevard. A weapon was indicated but not seen. The lone male suspect made off with a quantity of cash and fled on a bicycle.

A male matching the description was later seen ditching the bicycle on Westminster Place and getting into a White Chrysler 300 style sedan with a black grill and black wheels. The vehicle had a crack on the left side of the front bumper.

Please view the attached photos, but note the accused may now be wearing a short sleeve shirt, shorts, and low cut shoes with no socks.

Anyone who spots this male is asked to call Kingston Police immediately via 911. Also, if anyone finds clothing in the area, please contact us at 613-549-4660.
