DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE CAUSING BODILY HARM, FAIL TO STOP AT THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT
Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on August 15th, 2017 and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm and fail to remain at the scene of an accident. It is alleged on August 15th, 2017 the woman drove a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner in the area of Sydney Street and Ninth Street while her ex-boyfriend was hanging on to the vehicle. The ex-boyfriend fell from the vehicle causing him to seek medical attention for his injuries. The woman then fled the scene prior to police arrival. She was later taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 28th, 2017. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on August 15th, 2017 and charged with breach of recognizance for communicating with a certain person, being within 100meters of where that person might be, attending his residence and being outside her residence after having consumed alcohol. It is alleged on August 15th, 2017 police found the intoxicated woman at the address she was not to attend. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.
