Cornwall Community Police Service Blotter for March 7, 2018

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 6th, 2018 and charged with breach of undertaking for communicating with his ex-girlfriend and failing to keep the peace. The man was also charged with failing to appear for prints. It is alleged the man was found to be in breach of his conditions on March 1st, 2018 when he contacted his ex-girlfriend. It is also alleged the male failed to appear for prints on March 2nd, 2018 and an investigation ensued. The male attended police headquarters on March 6th, 2018 to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.



WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Dustin Beddingfield, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on March 6th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on February 20th, 2018 for a theft charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 6th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on April 17th, 2018.
