ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, MISCHIEF, BREAK AND ENTER, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on May 3rd, 2018 and charged with the following:
- Assault
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Mischief under $5000
- Break and enter
- Breach of probation (being within a certain distance of ex-husband and fail to keep the peace)
- Breach of undertaking (fail to keep the peace)
It is alleged between May 2-3, 2018, the woman entered her ex-husband’s residence without his permission. It is further alleged on May 3rd, 2018 the woman attended the residence of a man known to her and assaulted him and another man with a knife. She also damaged plates and a window in the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Jenna Cole, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on May 3rd, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on April 24th, 2018 for uttering threats and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 3rd, 2018, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Linda Paterson, 58, of Cornwall woman was arrested on May 3rd, 2018 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to notify police of a change of address and failing to keep the peace. On May 3rd, 2018, while investigating an unwanted person call, police found the woman to be in breach of her conditions. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 14th, 2018.
ASSAULT, THREATS, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 52-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 3rd, 2018 and charged with assault, threats and mischief under $5000. It is alleged during an argument on May 3rd, 2018 the man assaulted his girlfriend and threatened to damage her property. It is also alleged during the argument the man smashed furniture in the residence and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 14th, 2018. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Clarissa Square, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on May 4th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman breached her probation order and a warrant was issued for her arrest. During a traffic stop on May 4th, 2018, police located the woman and she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, DRIVE WHILE DISQUALIFIED, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Adam Lacoste-Marshall, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on May 4th, 2018 and charged with assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, drive while disqualified and breach of probation and undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged after an argument on May 4th, 2018, the man drove his vehicle into another vehicle with a man and woman known to him inside. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
