Cornwall Police Charge 17 Yr Old Girl After Knifing Boyfriend – 062018

ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – James MacFarlane, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on June 19th, 2018 and charged with assault cause bodily harm and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on May 27th, 2018, the man assaulted a 55-year-old man known to him, causing an injury that required medical attention. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 19th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 17th, 2018.

PERSONATION, OBSTRUCT POLICE, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kenneth Wilson, 39, of Cornwall was arrested on June 19th, 2018 and charged with personation, obstruct police and breach of recognizance for failing to remain in his residence and failing to reside at a certain address. It is alleged the man falsely identified himself to police during a traffic stop on June 19th, 2018, at which time he was found to be in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 19th, 2018 and charged with assault cause bodily harm, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and breach of recognizance for possessing a weapon. It is alleged during an argument on June 19th, 2018, the youth assaulted her boyfriend with a knife, causing him to seek medical attention for his injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, police located the youth. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
