UPDATE 8:41 PM
Poirier’s Furniture is on fire. Flames shooting from roof. Call the insurance company!
Four buildings burnt, others damaged. Was the response by firefighters enough? Could the fire have been less damaging or was it simply too dense an area?
The incident quickly escalated to 3 buildings including two multi-residential units and a furniture store. 27 firefighters were called in, in addition to the 10 initial fire personnel. 2 fire prevention officers, 1 mechanic & 1 fire chief also responded to the fire.
