#CCPS Cornwall Community Police Blotter for Tuesday September 25, 2018

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Julie Ladue, 27, of Hogansburg, NY was arrested on September 24th, 2018 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to sign in to police. It is alleged the woman failed to sign in on September 17th, 2018, despite her conditions. On September 24th, 2018 the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Justin Cooke, 28, of Moira, NY was arrested on September 24th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on May 11th, 2010 the man failed to attend court for a breach charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 24th, 2018 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service assumed custody of the man from the RCMP, as the man was held in custody on the strength of Cornwall’s warrant. The warrant was executed and the man remained in custody to await a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – James Cholette, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on September 24th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on May 28th, 2018, the man attended a Ninth Street grocery store and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 24th, 2018 the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 23rd, 2018.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Ashley David-Thompson, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on September 24th, 2018 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to abide by her curfew. It is alleged the woman was found breaching her conditions during the night of September 24th, 2018 and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 9th, 2018.
