Cornwall, ON – A 53-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 6th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man contacted his ex-girlfriend, despite having conditions not to do so. Police were contacted and a warrant was obtained for his arrest. On December 6th, 2018, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, FLIGHT FROM POLICE
Cornwall, ON – David Diagostino, 54, of Cornwall was arrested on December 6th, 2018 and charged with flight from police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged on December 6th, 2018 the man failed to stop for police in the area of Marlborough Street after driving in a dangerous manner. The motor vehicle eventually came to a stop, at which time the man was taken into custody, was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 17th, 2019.
