#CCPS Cornwall Police only disclose 2 out 97 Calls for Service MONDAY JANUARY 28, 2019

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Zachary McKinnon, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on January 25th, 2019 and charged with breach of undertaking for having communicated with someone he has conditions not to communicate with and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man was found in breach of his conditions when police were dispatched to a disturbance call on January 25th, 2019. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

THEFT UNDER, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – David Casey, 49 of North Gower was arrested on January 26th, 2019 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of undertaking for being in the possession of stolen property. It is alleged the man removed merchandise from a Second Street East store making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

There were 97 calls for service in the City of Cornwall in over the weekend (8am Friday to 8am Monday morning).
