4 Charged in Walton St. Cocaine Bust in Cornwall Ontario – 062019 #cps #ccps

DRUG WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – On June 19th, 2019, members of the Cornwall Police Service Street Crime Unit executed a drug warrant at a Walton Street address. As a result of the warrant, a quantity of cocaine was located, in addition to over $10,000.00 in Canadian currency, as well as a quantity of American currency and counterfeit American currency. Police also located a lock picking device and a mobile signal jammer.

The seized currency and drugs are estimated to be a combined street value of approximately $26,436.55.

As a result of the investigation, four individuals were taken into custody. Christopher O’Toole (35), Joseph O’Toole (46), Jeremy Roberts (19), and Tammy Roberts (34), all of Cornwall, were charged with the following:

• Possession of cocaine
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
• Possession of break-in instruments
• Possession of counterfeit money

Joseph O’Toole was also charged with breach of recognizance for being in possession of a crossbow, despite his conditions to not possess any weapons. Christopher and Joseph O’Toole were both held for a bail hearing, and Jeremy and Tammy Roberts were released to appear in court on July 16th, 2019.
