BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 52-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 8th, 2019 and charged with breach of undertaking for contacting his ex-common-law wife. It is alleged the man was in the company of his ex-common-law wife on October 8th, 2019, despite his conditions, and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 5th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DISTURBANCE

Cornwall, ON – Derek Daniels, 39, of Thamesville, ON was arrested on October 8th, 2019 and charged with causing a disturbance. It is alleged on the evening of October 8th, 2019 the man was spotted exposing himself by a member of the Cornwall Police Service in the area of Ninth Street and Pitt Street. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Williamstown man was arrested on October 8th, 2019 and charged with breach of recognizance and breach of undertaking for contacting his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged the man had contacted his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, and an investigation ensued. On October 8th, 2019, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

THREATS X 2, THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 9th, 2019 and charged with two counts of uttering threats and theft under $5000. It is alleged on September 6th, 2019, the man made threats to harm a man known to him and police were contacted. It is further alleged on October 9th, 2019, the man made threats to harm his girlfriend and took her phone from her without her permission. On October 9th, 2019, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 14th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
