DOMESTIC THREATS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 9th, 2019 and charged with threats and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument with his girlfriend on October 8th, 2019, the man made threats to harm her and police were contacted to investigate. On October 9th, 2019 he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 48-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 9th, 2019 and charged with domestic assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument with his girlfriend on October 9th, 2019, the man subsequently struck her and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 29th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Rachel Fenn, 44, of Cornwall was arrested on October 9th, 2019 and charged with assault, assault with a weapon, and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman assaulted a man known to her with by throwing an object at him. The woman also assaulted a woman known to her and police were contacted. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old Long Sault man was arrested on October 10th, 2019 and charged with criminal harassment and carrying a concealed weapon. He was also charged with three counts of breach of probation for failing to abide by a curfew, failing to abstain from alcohol, as well as failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during the early morning hours on October 10th, the man had been watching his ex-girlfriend from outside of her residence. Police were contacted and took the man into custody, at which time they found him to be in possession of a knife. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
