Chick Fight Leads to Charges in Cornwall Ontario POLICE BLOTTER #CPS 020620

WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – Bradley Bonk, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on February 5th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend for prints on December 4th, 2019, as well as failed to attend court on December 31st, 2019 for a theft charge and warrants were subsequently issued for his arrest. On February 5th, 2020, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants and released to appear in court on March 10th, 2020.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jamie Garlow, 27, of Russell was arrested on February 5th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his conditional sentence order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 5th, 2020, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old woman and a 61-year-old woman, both of Cornwall, were arrested on February 5th, 2020 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an altercation with a family member, the women assaulted the victim and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, both women were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 10th, 2020. Their names were not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

UNLAWFUL USE OF CREDIT CARD, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT AN INDICTABLE OFFENCE, TRAFFIC A CREDIT CARD

Cornwall, ON – Gisele Villeneuve, 37, and William Burgess, 46, both of Cornwall, were arrested on February 5th, 2020 and charged with the following:

• Unlawful use of credit card
• Possession of property obtained by crime
• Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence
• Traffic a credit card

It is alleged in December 2019, the man and woman used a credit card that did not belong to them and obtained a quantity of cash from an ATM machine. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 5th, 2020, both individuals attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. They were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 10th, 2020.
