Cornwall Police Charge Senior w Exposing Himself #CPS POLICE BLOTTER 022620

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Robert Scott, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on February 25th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on February 13th, 2020 for a break and enter offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 25th, 2020 a member of the Cornwall Police Service assumed custody of the man from the Kingston Police as the man was in custody on the strength of Cornwall’s warrant. The warrant was executed and he remained in custody to await a bail hearing.

SHOPLIFTING, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Amanda Walker, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on February 25th, 2020 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on January 17th, 2020, the woman attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the item as she left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 25th, 2020 she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 30th, 2020.

INDECENT ACT

Cornwall, ON – Howard McKay, 73, of Cornwall was arrested on February 26th, 2020 and charged with indecent act. It is alleged on February 5th, 2020, the man exposed himself to someone who was outside his residence and police were contacted to investigate. On February 26th, 2020, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 31st, 2020.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jonathan Deruchie, 46, of Cornwall was arrested on February 25th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on February 18th, 2020 for a shoplifting offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 25th, 2020 he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant. The warrant was executed and he remained in custody to await a bail hearing.
