Price Fails Habs Who Were Good Enough to Beat Leafs in O Time Loss on Opening Night #HOCKEYCRUNCH By Jamie Gilcig

January 14, 2021 – What can a Habs fan say? Their high priced goalie failed badly and allowed the Leafs to stay in a game they weren’t really in or deserved to win.

Toronto outshot the Habs 34-32 on a strong second period.

The good news is that les boys played well and the people you wanted delivering pretty much delivered including new power forward Josh Anderson who looked strong on what led to a goal.

Jonathan Drouin notched 3 assists playing with Anderson and young Alex Romanov picked up his first NHL point on the power play with an assist.

The bad was mostly Price who spent more time down on his knees in his shiny new red pads than one of the ol girls in the VIP room at Chez Paree.

With a shorter season against a short list of teams each game and point is crucial.

Vancouver pounded some crease action to a win ruining Edmonton’s home opener with Brock Boeser notching 2 goals.

Braden Holtby made 28 saves for the win with the Canucks looking strong.
