CFN – The audience at the Bell Centre in Montreal Wednesday night did not go away disappointed as the Foo Fighters played for nearly three hours! Dave Grohl has come along way since Nirvana. My pal and former Cornwall resident, Evie, and Seattle native caught the Foo Fighters and had a lot of insight on the performance and band. No shy backgrounder for Kurt Cobain any longer; Evie was blown away by how much Dave had blossomed!

He shouted to and in reference of the crowd at one point:
“If I wasn’t standing here I’d be standing right f***in’ there!”
The Doughboys opened after reforming after years of not, and got rave reviews as well.
