WANTED MALE ARRESTED
(North Dundas) – On November 6, 2015 at approximately 9:28am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers intercepted a vehicle on County Road 13, North Dundas Township. Information indicated that the accused was wanted by the SD&G OPP. The stop also resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected Marihuana, Cocaine and Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms).
Joey CINNAMON (35) of North Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Recognizance (2 counts)
– Possession of a Controlled Substance ( 3 Counts)
– Drive While Under Suspension ( Highway Traffic Act)
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(South Glengarry) – On November 6, 2015 at approximately 10:50 am, Stormont Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Main Street in North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his common law spouse had occurred.
An adult male (61) from South Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
The male was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on December 1, 2015.
On November 7, 2015 at approximately 2:31am SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at the same residence on Main Street in North Glengarry. Investigation revealed that a male was in contravention of conditions (Not to communicate with victim) imposed from a previous incident (November 6th 2015). Also another male contacted the victim as well and harassed her.
An adult male (61) from South Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking
The male was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
Another adult male (52) from South Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Criminal Harassment
The male was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on December 12, 2015. The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
WANTED FEMALE ARRESTED
(South Stormont) – On November 7, 2015 at approximately 10:29pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers intercepted a vehicle on County Road 2, South Stormont Township. Information indicated that the accused was wanted by the SD&G OPP and Cornwall Community Police.
Mindy HEERKENS (31) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Drive While Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
– Drive Motor Vehicle, No currently Validated Permit ( Highway Traffic Act)
– Operate vehicle without Insurance
– Use Plates not Authorized for vehicle
She was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
BREACH OF CONDITIONS
(South Glengarry) – On November 7, 2015 at approximately 11:07pm Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Saphire Drive, South Glengarry Township. Police located a male and Investigation revealed that the male was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident. The male was also found to be in possession of items not belonging to him.
Shane MOYER (44) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking (3 counts)
– Trespass By Night
-Obstruct peace Officer
– Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
The male was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
YOUTH ARRESTED
(South Glengarry) – On November 8, 2015 at approximately 8:19am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a youth causing damage to a residence and assaulting family members in South Glengarry Township. The young male was located and arrested. Investigation revealed that the male was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
The 16-year-old is charged with;
– Mischief
– Assault
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking (2 counts)
– Fail to comply with Sentence
– Fail to comply with Conditions of an Recognizance ( 2 counts)
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall today (November 9, 2015).
DRUGS SEIZED AT TRAFFIC STOPS
(South Dundas) – On November 8, 2015 at approximately 8:54am, Stormont, Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers intercepted a vehicle on Carman Road, South Dundas Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana.
Spencer DERUE (19) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance – Under 30 Grams
The male was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on December 8, 2015.
EXCESSIVE SPEEDS
(South Glengarry) – On November 8, 2015, SD&G OPP officer conducted speed measuring enforcement on Highway 401, South Glengarry Townships and intercepted the following vehicle for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days.
– November 8, 2015 – 7:32am (South Glengarry); vehicle stopped travelling 166km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (31) from Scarborough, Ontario was charged accordingly.
THEFT
(South Glengarry) – On November 8, 2015 at approximately 9:09am, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft of a Trailer from a property on Kirk Street, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime between (November 7-8, 2015) a black 13 foot Utility Trailer (plated – A9907B) was removed.
An Investigation continues.
