BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 18th, 2015 and charged with breach of probation for being with his girlfriend and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on December 18th, 2015 police attended a Duncan Street residence for a disturbance and found the man in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 19th, 2016. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80, THREATS
Cornwall, ON – Dalton White, 18 of Hogansburg, NY was arrested on December 19th, 2015 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, over 80 and threats. It is alleged in the early morning hours of December 19th, 2015 the man was driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Montreal Road and Belmont Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop at which point he threatened to harm the officer. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 29th, 2015.
WARRANT, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Cornwall, ON – A 61-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 19th, 2015 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged a warrant had been issued for the arrest of the man for break and enter, assault, threats, criminal harassment and breach of probation. On December 19th, 2015 the man was located at a Vincent Massey Drive address. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and found to be in the possession of a quantity of fentanyl. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the charges stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim.
THEFT UNDER $5000, MISCHIEF, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Two Cornwall youths aged fifteen and sixteen were arrested on December 20th, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000. The 16-year-old was also charged with mischief and breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on December 20th, 2015 the youths removed a bottle of alcohol from a Second Street East store making no attempt to pay for the item as they left the store and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation it was also learned that the 16-year-old had caused mischief by way of throwing the bottle on the ground causing it to break. Both were located by police, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The 15-year-old youth was released to appear in court at a later date while the 16-year-old youth was held for a bail hearing. Their names were not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

O.P.P. December 14 – December 21, 2015
(Prescott, ON.) –Members of the Prescott Detachment of the Grenville County O.P.P. responded to a total of 144 calls for service from December14th to December 21st, 2015 inclusive. Included in the 144 for calls for service were 62 in the Town of Prescott, 36 in Augusta Township, 27 in the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, 5 on the 416 and 14 on the 401Highway.

Town of Prescott
On the 20th of December, 2015 officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on King St West at Sophia St. in the Town of Prescott. At 8:10 pm police observed a vehicle traveling westbound come up to the R.I.D.E. program. Police noted the smell of alcohol coming from the breath of the driver who subsequently failed the roadside test. He was arrested for Over 80 and taken to the Prescott Detachment where he provided samples of his breath. A 26 year old male from Montague Township has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle Over 80 and failing to comply with Probation Order. He is to appear in Brockville Court at a later date.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(South Dundas) – On December 18, 2015 – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into a reported domestic situation. Investigation indicated that an adult male had repeatedly communicated and followed his ex-girlfriend.
A 19-year-old male from North Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Criminal Harassment (2 counts)
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on January 26, 2016. His name is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
BREACH OF CONDITIONS
(South Glengarry) – On December 20, 2015 at approximately 7:50am, an SD&G OPP officer intercepted a vehicle for speeding on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township. A check of a male passenger revealed he was in breach of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
Mohcine ECH-CHEIKH (19) of Saint-Laurent, Quebec was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Recognizance (3 counts)
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
DRUGS SEIZED AT TRAFFIC STOP
(South Glengarry) – On December 20, 2015 at approximately 12:07pm, an SD&G OPP officer intercepted a vehicle for speeding on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of quantities of suspected marihuana and methamphetamine.
The female driver, Meagan MONIQUE (26) of Dundee, Quebec was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
She was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on February 3, 2015.
BREAK-IN/THEFT
(South Dundas) – Between December 16-19, 2015 – outbuildings located at a property on Allison Avenue, South Dundas Township were forcibly entered. Inside, a gas pressure washer, paints guns and power/hand tools were removed.
An investigation continues.
MISCHIEF
(South Glengarry) – On December 19, 2015 at approximately 2:24am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of damage done to a vehicle that was parked at a property on Military Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that between December 18 (8:30pm) and the above noted date/ time, the windshield of the vehicle was smashed.
An investigation continues.
EXCESSIVE SPEEDS
(South Glengarry/Dundas) – Over the past weekend, SD&G OPP officers conducting speed measuring enforcement on Highway 401, South Glengarry/Dundas Townships intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. In all stops, the vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.
– December 19, 2015 – 1:45pm (South Glengarry); vehicle stopped travelling 155km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (47) from Waterloo, Ontario charged accordingly.
– December 19, 2015 – 3:51pm (South Dundas); vehicle stopped travelling 155km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (18) from Kingston, Ontario charged accordingly.
– December 20, 2015 – 10:31am (South Dundas); vehicle stopped travelling 152km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (32) from Hamilton, Ontario charged accordingly.
– December 20, 2015 – 11:22am (South Glengarry); vehicle stopped travelling 156km/h (100km/h zone). Female driver (47) from Belleville, Ontario charged accordingly.
SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATION
(North Stormont) – On December 13, 2015 at approximately 10:12pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a sexual assault incident that occurred at a residence on Duffs Corners Road, North Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that a male youth had sexually assaulted an adult female.
A 16-year-old male from North Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Sexual Assault
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on January 21, 2016. His name is not being released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act and to protect the identity of the victim.
MISCHIEF
(North Dundas) – Overnight (December 14-15, 2015) a vehicle was damaged while parked at a property on Caleb Street, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that the windshield was smashed.
An investigation continues.
