OPP RESPOND TO MALE IN WATER ON LOWER BEVERLY LAKE
(Lyndhurst, ON) – On the 12th of July 2016 at approximately 1:50 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P) in Leeds County Responded to a swimmer that had gone under water and had not surfaced on Lower Beverly Lake, in the township of Rideau Lakes.
O.P.P officers from Leeds County as well as Leeds Grenville Marine Unit and Leeds Grenville Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
A 19 year old male from Windsor On, was transported from the scene by Leeds Grenville Ambulance Services to hospital.
Leeds County O.P.P. officers worked together to shut down traffic from the scene in Lyndhurst to the City of Brockville where Brockville City Police assisted O.P.P and Leeds Grenville Ambulance Services to hospital.
The male was pronounced deceased at hospital.
A post mortem scheduled for the 13th of July 2016.
There is no foul play suspected in this incident.
Investigation is continuing into the cause of death.
