BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Jason Watts, 35 of Cornwall was arrested on February 22nd, 2017 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to notify a change of address and failing to report to police as directed. It is alleged the man failed to report to police and failed to notify a change of address and an investigation ensued. On February 22nd, 2017 the man was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Andre Major, 58 of Cornwall was arrested on February 23rd, 2017 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged during a traffic stop on March 26th, 2013 the man was found to be driving a pickup truck which police later learned was stolen out of Ottawa. A warrant was then obtained for his arrest for possession of property obtained by crime over $5000. In the early morning hours of February 23rd, 2017 the man was spotted by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service in the area of Fourteenth Street and Vincent Massey Drive. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Micheline Larin, 36 of Cornwall was arrested on February 21st, 2017 and charged with breach of probation for being in possession of alcohol, being in the company of certain persons after having consumed alcohol and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on February 21st, 2017 the woman was in breach of her conditions and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
