Canada-wide arrest warrant on First-degree murder charges
(Ottawa) –A Canada wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of Alam Gabriel BUOC, 30 years old, of Ottawa, in relation to the homicides of Abdurahman AL-SHAMMARI and Dirie OLOL, and the attempted homicide of an adult male still in serious condition in hospital.
He is wanted on two charges of First-degree murder, and one of Attempted murder. BUOC is to be considered armed and dangerous.
He is described as black male, 6’4” (193cm), 201 lbs (91 kg), thin build, with short black hair (see picture.)

An appeal for information on homicide investigation at Elmhurst Park area
(Ottawa)–The Ottawa Police Service Major Crime unit continues to investigate two homicides and a shooting that resulted in serious injuries on July 24th 2017.
The incidents are believed to be connected.
At approximately 7:00am, police responded to the Queensway Carleton Hospital for a report of a man who had sustained gunshot wounds. He remains in hospital in serious condition.
Shortly after this report, police responded to the area of Elmhurst Park in the city’s west end and discovered a deceased male who had suffered gunshot wound.
He has been identified as Abdulrahman AL-SHAMMARI, 26. At approximately noon police responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle also located in the city’s west end. Inside the vehicle, police found a deceased male identified as Dirie OLOL, 27, who had suffered a gunshot wound.
The Major Crime Unit is seeking the public’s assistance. If you were travelling in the area of Elmhurst Park or the area of Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway between Island Park Drive and Richmond Road between the hours of 6:00am and 8:00am and observed anything suspicious, please contact the Major Crime Unit at 613-236-1222 Ext. 5493.

Homicide Investigation: Elmhurst Park area
(Ottawa)–The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating a homicide and shootings in the Elmhurst Park area near Alpine Avenue and Tavistock Road.
Today, at 7:08 a.m., OPS was notified of a male who arrived at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. His injuries are serious.
While investigating the shooting of that first victim another male victim was located deceased at 8:44 a.m. in the area of Alpine Avenue and Tavistock Road.
The Major Crime Units is investigating two incidents that are believed to be connected. There are multiple crime scenes being processed at this time.
