(LEEDS, ON.) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped another stunt driver in Leeds County.
On December 25, 2017 at about 8:30 P.M. Ontario Provincial Police officers in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township stopped an eastbound car on Highway 401 driving 104 kilometres over the speed limit.
As a result of the investigation, a 22 year old Ajax, Ontario man found his vehicle towed and impounded for 7 days. Further, the drivers’ licence was suspended after he registered an alert on a roadside test.
He is scheduled to appear at Brockville Provincial Offences Court on January 19, 2018 to answer to a Dangerous Driving charge. The driver was also charged with the provincial offences of Stunt Driving and for Having an Open Container of Liquor.
