Brockville Ontario – Brockville Pride 2018 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with perfect weather!
With an opening Song – I will survive by Gloria Gaynor. Three politicians attended today. They mentioned in a speech that Brockville is in the top 3 GLBTG+ in Ontario per capita and the most Out People in Ontario in a positive spirited speech.
The Parade route started at The Brockville Armouries moving west along King St. ending at Hardy Water Front Park.
The Grounds filled with Vendors, information cabanas, face painting, a bouncy castle, and sponsors had their people all with matching shirts.
Once the speakers had wrapped it up the Music began and the Party Starts. The MC was Dynasty Star with Drag Queen performances by Anje, Miss Congeniality. Ya ya, Miss Brockville Pride, extended an Olive Branch to the The Brockville Police Services, they were invited to the 2018 Pride Event and attended.
A Vendor from Cornwall, Cinnamon Swirlies with Tupperware Products was present! They we be at Cornwall Pride.
It takes must time to make an Event happen and The Brockville Pride Committee has begun for next years 2019 Pride.
Some of the groups that walked in the parade were Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit. OPSEU- SEFPO Ontario Public Service Employees Union, 97.3 Bob FM, Royal Bank of Canada, YMCA of Brockville and Area, Wall Street United Church, UFCW Canada Local 1006A, to name a number of Groups and Organizations that walked in the Parade along with many participants
