The Prime Minister boasted of the country’s system of banking regulation, which he suggested has kept Canadian banks from requiring the degree of government support that has been propping up institutions in other countries.
What I don’t get is why Mr. Harper or anyone in his government would try and take credit for Canada’s banking system which was under Liberal Government for most of the last 40 years?
Certainly his own rule has led to a loss of surpluses and a massive decline of our economy?

And in other Conservative news, former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney is attempting to distance himself from his party by having his name removed from its rolls. Pretty pathetic as the noose closes on Brian. L I N K
